Wisconsin Girls Ready to Shine at Junior National Duals

The growth of girls wrestling in Wisconsin has been impossible to ignore, and Team Wisconsin will have an opportunity to showcase that progress when the nation's best wrestlers gather in Westfield, Indiana, for the Junior National Duals.
Over the past several years, Wisconsin has produced state champions, Fargo All-Americans, and Division I college recruits at an increasing rate. This year's roster reflects that growth, featuring a lineup loaded with state medalists, national-level experience, and some of the top young talent in the state.
With a blend of proven veterans and rising stars, Wisconsin enters the tournament looking to compete with some of the nation's traditional girls wrestling powers.

National Experience Leads the Way

The foundation of Team Wisconsin is built around several wrestlers who have already proven themselves on the national stage.
At 190 pounds, Brooke Huffman of Wittenberg-Birnamwood enters as one of the most accomplished wrestlers on the roster. A three-time state champion, Huffman has consistently excelled at Fargo, earning runner-up honors in 2023, a national title in 2024, and a third-place finish in the Junior division in 2025. Her combination of experience and success makes her one of Wisconsin's top point-scoring threats.
Another nationally accomplished wrestler is Carley Ceshker at 135 pounds. The Badger graduate is a two-time state champion and four-time state finalist who has earned three Fargo All-American finishes, including a third-place finish in the Junior division. Ceshker will continue her career at the University of Iowa and enters the tournament as one of Wisconsin's most battle-tested competitors.
At 125 pounds, Madi Peach of Milton brings an impressive résumé of her own. A three-time state champion, Peach earned All-American honors with a fifth-place finish in the Junior division at Fargo in 2025 and will continue her wrestling career at Grand Valley State University.
The upper weights remain strong with Izabella Riebe at 235 pounds. The Wisconsin Lutheran graduate capped her career with a state championship after previously earning three additional state medals, giving Wisconsin another experienced veteran in the lineup.

Proven Winners Throughout the Lineup

Wisconsin's strength extends far beyond its nationally recognized stars.
At 120 pounds, Angie Bianchi of Two Rivers enters as a two-time state champion and four-time state finalist. Bianchi also earned Fargo All-American honors in 2023 and is committed to Oklahoma State University, making her one of the most accomplished wrestlers on the team.
The 140-pound weight class features two wrestlers with impressive credentials. Harlow Skenadore of Pulaski won a state title in 2024 before placing third in 2025 and followed that up with a 16U Fargo championship in 2025. Alongside her is Franky Groom-Frey of North Crawford/Seneca, a two-time state placer and Fargo All-American.
At 170 pounds, Wisconsin has quality depth with Kimura Hutter of Adams-Friendship and Amelia Soltis of Mount Horeb/Barneveld. Hutter enters as a former state champion and state runner-up, while Soltis recently earned a state medal with a fifth-place finish.

Strength in the Middle Weights

The middle portion of the lineup is filled with experienced state medalists who have consistently competed at Wisconsin's highest level.
At 110 pounds, Wisconsin can turn to either Dilynn Albrecht of Milton or Kat Cook of Freedom. Albrecht is a two-time state placer and Fargo All-American, while Cook enters as a state champion and three-time state medalist.
The 115-pound class provides another strong combination with Devynn Albrecht of Milton and Lily Baker of Freedom. Both wrestlers have multiple state medals and have consistently been among the state's best at their respective weights.
At 130 pounds, Kylee Kurszewski of Neenah brings extensive state tournament experience as a four-time state qualifier and state runner-up. She will continue her wrestling career at the University of Dubuque.
Wisconsin also has solid experience at 155 pounds with Terryn McBride of Milwaukee King and Emerson Miller of Poynette. Both wrestlers steadily improved throughout their careers, with Miller finishing as a state runner-up and McBride earning a fourth-place finish this season.

Rising Stars to Watch

Several younger wrestlers on the roster could make significant impacts in Milwaukee.
At 95 pounds, Brynn Engel of Badger enters after earning sixth place at the state tournament in 2025 and a runner-up finish at Fargo in the 16U division in 2024, giving Wisconsin a nationally proven competitor at  the lightest weights.
Ellie Hultman of Bay Port will gain valuable national experience at 100 pounds after qualifying for the state tournament as a freshman.
At 105 pounds, Cassidy O'Connell of Regis/Altoona is a two-time state placer who earned All-American honors with a seventh-place finish at Fargo in 2025.
At 145 pounds, Stella Pettitt of Freedom enters as a two-time state medalist and will look to continue her upward progression against elite national competition.
At 207 pounds, Autumn King of Bay Port rounds out the lineup after earning a fourth-place finish at the state tournament this season.

With Fargo champions, Fargo All-Americans, state champions, college commits, and emerging young talent spread throughout the lineup, Team Wisconsin enters Junior National Duals ready to continue the growth of girls wrestling in the Badger State. The roster features wrestlers who have already found success on the national stage and others looking to make their breakthrough against elite competition. As Wisconsin heads to Westfield, this group has the talent, depth, and experience to compete with some of the best teams in the country and continue establishing Wisconsin as a rising force in girls wrestling.
